About SoWhere

SoWhere is a travel guide and trip planner. It tells you when a place is worth visiting, and plans your days from places that exist.

What it does

Every destination guide rates all twelve months. A rating is one word, Ideal, Good, Workable, Poor or Avoid, and it weighs weather, crowds and cost together, so the best month is not simply the warmest one.

A plan is a short itinerary: one base or two, the days you spend at each, and the stops in each day. Tell us where you want to go, when, for how many days and who is travelling, and we email you the plan.

Where the information comes from

Guides are written from facts we researched and can trace to a source, and a person reviews every page before it is published. How we make guides describes each step.

The catalogue is small and grows as pages pass review. A destination without a guide is one we have not finished checking, so you will not find a half-written page for it.

What it is not

SoWhere does not sell trips and does not book anything. A guide is information and a plan is a suggestion; entry rules, prices and opening hours change, so check official sources before you travel.

If a guide is wrong or out of date, write to hello@sowhere.io. We check the source and fix the page.
